Finding the right barber can take time, and after trying different places in London, I came across Sea Barber and thought I’d give it a go.
I went all out and booked the deluxe package for £53, which was £7 cheaper than the recently tried Ted Baker Grooming Room.
At first I was a bit skeptical and thought this could be just another Turkish barber. How wrong could I have been.
After an excellent hair cut and wet shave, things went up a level. I was treated to four, yes four different facial treatments, each followed by a hot towel (five in total). The barber then removed black heads by hand, gave my eye brows a treat, flamed the ears and gave what was probably the best face massage ever!
Whilst waiting for the clay facial mask to dry, I was offered a cold Turkish beer which was a nice touch.
After a thorough face and hair wash I was then given another (!!) hot towel before a final style.
The whole experience lasted almost an hour and a half. I left feeling a million dollars.
